Thanksgiving

What a wonderful time I had with my family in Houston.  My nephew loves to do crafts, so I packed up my Stampin' Up! stuff and took some of it with me.  Here is the first project we did.  It's a variation of the turkey in last year's SU! magazine.  Isn't it cute?

The Order is In!

It's like Christmas to me when I get a Stampin' Up! order in the mail.  The funny thing about it is that none of it is for me!

Christmas Gift Tags

The order has been placed and all the materials for the fantastic Christmas Gift Tags shown below will be on my doorstep in about a week.  I can't wait.  We can make some at my house soon.  I'll let you know as soon as I figure out a date.

Here is another picture of the same characters, but the alternate tag style.  These open up and something can be written on the inside.  So, who wants to make some?

Honorable Mention

What an honor!  The Christmas Gift Tag Project on my blog has been chosen as "The Late Night Stamper’s Blog Finds of the Day for November 4."  I'm not sure what all that means, but it's a compliment for sure.

Christmas Gift Tags

Here are the girls at the workshop yesterday.  We had so much fun that we want to get together again in November.  They decided that they want to make gift tags for Christmas gifts.  So I went home and started searching for some cute ideas.

These are a few of the cutest that I found made with Stampin' Up! punches.  Each is a little gift all by itself.  Look at the attention to detail:  ribbon on the Penguin, sparkles on the Santa and Reindeer, and crystal effects on Frosty's holly.  There are some pretty designs out there, but these were by far the cutest.  So here is what I'm thinking...we can make a set of 16 for $10.  The 16 would include 2 each of these shown above and 2 each of the same characters, but in the folded style shown below.  The backgrounds are made with a die cut used with the Big Shot. I can't wait to show you all what cool things can be made with the Big Shot. 

I think I'm going to make a set for my sister-in-law who is making our Thanksgiving dinner this year, and maybe a set for my son's teacher.     So, if you would like to make some of these before Christmas, send an email to TAGolden@sbcglobal.net or leave a comment.  If you host a class for your friends, there is a possibility of receiving hostess benefits which include free stamp sets and credit for free merchandise!

Circle Circus Card Set

Here is an update on the Circle Circus card set.  I did the two co- ordinating cards by rearranging the color com- bination on Jill's favorite card.  We are going to do two of each for a total of six.  The cost will be $12 per set.  I'm wondering if the box that is pictured here is a good packaging idea.  We were originally thinking of a clear bag tied off with matching ribbon, but I think the box would be easier to store and deliver.  I'm imagining a stack of sets for teachers or co-workers would be easier to transport in the box.  What do you think?

"Holy Crop!"

I host a crop almost monthly at the local church, hence the name "Holy Crop!" 

A light dinner and drinks are provided, the guests bring additional snacks and sweets and we are crafty from 6 until midnight!  Everyone brings their own materials and the cost is only $10 per person. 

You get your own round table, sometimes two!  Here is a picture of the room.  The lighting is really good.
